Can you help with foodstuffs for the foodbank, they are really short currently of the following, leave your donations in the box as you come into church :

Cartons of fruit juice - tins of cold meats - tinned tomatoes - sponge puddings - tin rice pudding

SPECIAL SERVICES

Gosfield Tommies Reunited – we have secured a grant for another 8 Tommies for the village, to make up a platoon of 9 to represent the 9 men of Gosfield lost in WWI.   A local Committee (which you might like to join)   is organising a Tea Party at the MR Hall for the afternoon of Saturday 3 November, to honour those who fight or fought for freedom, whenever the fight.  We hope also to talk about the village War Memorial, so do come along.  Kate Sale is your contact.

5th Sunday - We meet together as the Halstead area team. The service will be at one of the team Churches

There are toys to the rear of the church should the children become restless.  

Stay after the service for tea/coffee cake/biscuits and chat with the others in the congregation, we don't bite.
